Shunem means “double rest” and is the Biblical hometown of a woman who built a little room for the prophet Elisha to rest on his travels. Like that room, Shunem Creative is established to bring rest and renewal to people of faith. I hope when you read my poetry and devotionals, when you hear me speak or encounter my pottery, you find God’s rest in spite of life’s difficulties.
